Dual D-type flip-flop in a 14-DIP through-hole package
The Toshiba TC4013BP(N,F) is a dual D-type flip-flop with complementary outputs, positive-edge triggered and a reset function. Each of the two elements stores one bit.
3V to 18V supply — wide operating window
Rated for 3V to 18V, this part runs from a single lithium cell up to a 15V industrial rail. Quiescent current sits at 120 µA typical, so battery-powered logic panels don't bleed the supply. The 20 MHz clock frequency at 15V gives enough margin for most slow-to-moderate speed sequential logic; propagation delay is 90 ns at 15V with a 50 pF load.
The through-hole DIP package is straightforward to hand-assemble or rework — no special profile needed.
