1x1mm DSBGA — what the footprint demands
The TPS72719YFFT comes in a 4-bump DSBGA measuring 1x1 mm — the 0.5 mm pitch rules out a 2-layer breakout; a 4-layer board with microvias is the realistic fan-out route. Surface-mount only, with the Enable pin letting you gate the output for sequenced power rails.
85 dB PSRR — where it matters on the rail
PSRR holds 85 dB at 10 Hz and rolls to 45 dB at 1 MHz — this LDO cleans up ripple from a switching pre-regulator across the audio band and into the low-MHz switching fundamental. At 250 mA output, the 200 mV max dropout at 200 mA means the input rail needs only 2.1 V to hold 1.9 V regulation — a 3.3 V bus leaves 1.2 V headroom for the PSRR stage to work.
Industrial temp range and protection
Over-current, over-temperature, and UVLO protection are integrated. Quiescent current is 110 µA typical, rising to 130 µA max — low enough for battery-powered sensor nodes that spend most of their time in active regulation.
