Dual-output synchronous buck controller for 5V/12V/24V rails
The TPS53124RGET is a dual-output synchronous buck controller from TI's D-CAP™ series, built for point-of-load regulation from 4.5V to 24V input rails. Two independent transistor-driver outputs, each with enable control, let it power separate core and I/O voltages from a single supply. The synchronous rectifier keeps efficiency high at low output voltages — a real advantage when you're dropping 12V to 1.8V or 3.3V.
Supply range and temperature grade
Input supply range spans 4.5V to 24V, covering standard 5V and 12V rails plus 24V industrial buses. That means it fits factory-floor gear, outdoor telecom cabinets, and indoor power supplies, but not engine-bay or downhole tools.
Package and footprint — 24-VQFN with exposed pad
Housed in a 24-VQFN (4x4 mm) with exposed thermal pad. The 0.50 mm pitch demands a 4-layer board for fan-out; two-layer boards will struggle to break out the inner rows. Cut Tape or Tape & Reel — reel preferred for volume, Cut Tape for prototypes.
ROHS3 compliant, so it clears the EU material restriction without an exemption.
