Sensor identity and key ratings
The TMP112NAIDRLR is a digital local temperature sensor from Texas Instruments, delivering 12-bit resolution with an I²C/SMBus interface.
Supply rail and power management
Operating from 1.4V to 3.6V, the sensor connects directly to 1.8V or 3.3V logic rails — no external LDO needed for the supply. The One-Shot and Shutdown Mode features let the system take a temperature reading on demand and then drop the quiescent current to near zero, which is useful in battery-powered or duty-cycled applications.
Package and assembly fit
Supplied in a SOT-5X3 package (SOT-563/SOT-666 footprint), the TMP112NAIDRLR is a surface-mount device suited for reflow assembly. The small body saves board area, but the pad layout is standard enough that most PCB fabs handle it without extra cost.
