PSRR and noise rejection for sensitive analog rails
The TLV70533YFFT delivers 80 dB PSRR at 10 kHz, rolling to 55 dB at 1 MHz — this means it attenuates switching-regulator ripple and digital noise across the frequency band where most DC-DC converters operate, making it a fit for powering analog front-ends, ADC reference buffers, or RF PLL supplies where a clean rail is non-negotiable. Output is fixed at 3.3 V with 200 mA continuous capability, and the maximum dropout is 250 mV at full load — the input rail needs only 3.55 V minimum to maintain regulation, so it runs comfortably from a 3.6 V or 5 V bus without excessive headroom loss.
Quiescent draw and thermal range
Quiescent current is 55 µA typical, with a maximum supply current of 315 µA — the regulator's own consumption stays low enough that a battery-powered sensor waking briefly to take a reading and sleeping again sees negligible drain from the LDO itself. Operating junction temperature spans -40°C to 125°C, covering the industrial temperature band.
Protection and control features
Built-in protection covers over-current, over-temperature, reverse polarity, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO) — the regulator shuts down rather than pass a fault to the load. The Enable pin allows external on/off control, letting a supervisor or GPIO sequence the rail. Single regulator, positive output configuration.
