Product details

The TL431CLPE3 is the ±2.2% initial-tolerance grade of the classic TL431 programmable shunt regulator, in a TO-92-3 through-hole package. It delivers a 2.495 V reference that can be set to any value up to 36 V with two external resistors. The 100 mA cathode current rating means it can sink enough current to drive an optocoupler LED or a small load directly, but the 1 mA minimum cathode current must be maintained for regulation.
