Product details

200W mono or 100W stereo Class D amplifier in 44-HTSSOP

The TAS5342LADDVR is a Class D audio amplifier from TI's PurePath Digital series, delivering 200W x 1 channel into a 2Ω load in mono mode, or 100W x 2 channels into 4Ω in stereo configuration. Housed in a 44-TSSOP package with exposed pad (0.244", 6.20mm width), the supplier device package is 44-HTSSOP. The exposed pad must be soldered to a thermal land on the PCB to dissipate heat from the output stage. Supply voltage range is 10.8V to 13.2V, making it suitable for regulated 12V rails common in automotive aftermarket and consumer audio systems.

Digital PWM inputs and protection suite

Digital PWM inputs eliminate the need for an external DAC or analog front-end — the amplifier accepts a pulse-width modulated signal directly from a digital audio processor or controller. On-chip protection includes short-circuit and thermal shutdown, plus a shutdown pin for external mute control. These features allow the amplifier to survive output faults without external clamp diodes in most designs. Output configuration supports either 1-channel (mono) bridged or 2-channel (stereo) single-ended operation, selectable by the input signal routing.

0°C to 70°C commercial temperature grade

Operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C (TA), the commercial grade band. This limits deployment to indoor, temperature-controlled environments — not suitable for automotive cabin or outdoor enclosures without active cooling. Lifecycle status is Active per the manufacturer, with ROHS3 compliance. Available in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) packaging options for volume or prototype quantities.
