Single-gate buffer with 3-state output — what the 32 mA symmetric drive buys you
The SN74LVC1G125DCKJ delivers 32 mA of drive current on both the high and low output states. The 3-state output lets you float the pin when the output-enable is inactive.
The supply range spans 1.65 V to 5.5 V, which means this buffer can operate at any common logic rail from 1.8 V through 5 V. In a mixed-voltage system — say a 3.3 V MCU talking to a 5 V peripheral — the buffer can translate a logic signal in either direction as long as the input thresholds align with the supply. The 74LVC family's 5 V tolerant inputs also accept signals above the supply rail, so the buffer won't latch up when a 5 V signal arrives at a 3.3 V powered device.
Any remaining stock in the supply chain is new-old-stock or surplus inventory. If you have this part on a BOM for a sustainment program, you will need to source it through independent distribution on a quoted-to-order basis.
