The Texas Instruments SN74F2244N is a bus driver, a logic-level buffer used to drive heavy capacitive or low-impedance loads on a digital bus.
RoHS non-compliant — plan for the exemption
For aerospace, defence, or industrial equipment that permits leaded finishes, this is not a blocker — but a standard consumer or commercial PCB assembly line will reject it. Plan the BOM accordingly: if your assembly house requires RoHS, you will need a leaded-process waiver or a separate production line.
That matters for the rework bench: no carrier tape to manage, but also no pick-and-place feeder setup. For a repair or low-volume build, Bulk is fine — you can pull one part without unspooling a reel. For automated assembly, check whether your line can handle tube-fed DIP packages or if you need to transfer to a different medium.
