The SN74ALVC08IPWRQ1: Maximum propagation delay is 2.9 ns at 3.3 V with a 50 pF load — this sets the timing budget for high-speed control signals in an engine ECU or ADAS sensor interface where the clock period is under 20 ns. Each output can source or sink 24 mA, enough to drive the input of three or four downstream logic gates or a low-power LED indicator without a buffer.
Supply voltage and input threshold flexibility
The input logic-low threshold is 0.7 V to 0.8 V, and the logic-high threshold is 1.7 V to 2 V across the supply range. At a 2.5 V supply rail, a 1.8 V signal from a sensor or MCU GPIO is recognised as a logic high, while a 0.4 V signal is safely below the low threshold — no external level shifting needed. Quiescent current is 10 µA maximum, which keeps the standby power draw negligible in a battery-backed module or a key-off automotive circuit.
