What this NAND gate is and where it fits
The SN74AC10PW is a triple 3-input NAND gate from TI's 74AC family, in a 14-TSSOP surface-mount package. It takes a 2V to 6V supply, so it sits comfortably in 3.3V or 5V logic rails — useful when you are mixing voltage domains on a board and need a gate that does not care which side it translates from. Three independent gates, each with three inputs, give you enough for a simple address decode or a reset logic cluster without burning a second package.
7 ns propagation delay — what it means for timing
At 5V with a 50 pF load, max propagation delay is 7 ns. For panel-level logic — interlock gates, watchdog resets, mode selects — 7 ns is plenty of headroom.
Supply range and output drive
Rated 2V to 6V supply, with 24 mA sink and source capability per output. That 24 mA is enough to drive a low-current LED indicator directly or fan out to several CMOS inputs. The wide supply tolerance also means this part can serve as a level translator between a 3.3V microcontroller and a 5V peripheral — the input thresholds scale with VCC, so a 3.3V high is recognized as a logic high at 5V VCC.
Temperature range and environment
Rated -40°C to 85°C, which covers industrial control cabinets, outdoor telecom pedestals, and automotive cabin environments (non-engine bay). Not a mil-spec part, but fine for the vast majority of factory-floor and infrastructure gear. Quiescent current maxes at 2 µA, so it adds negligible draw to a power budget.
