Active production — no BOM risk
The OP-07DPS: ROHS3 compliance is confirmed — the part meets the latest EU restricted-substance directive, so it can be placed into new designs without a waiver or exemption check.
Parametric fit for precision DC and low-frequency signal chains
With a gain-bandwidth product of 600 kHz and a slew rate of 0.3 V/µs, this op-amp is sized for DC-accurate amplification and low-frequency AC signals — think thermocouple conditioning, strain-gauge bridges, or 4-20 mA loop buffers where the signal bandwidth stays below a few tens of kilohertz. The slew rate limits the full-power bandwidth to roughly 10 kHz at 10 V output swing, so it is not a candidate for high-speed ADC drivers or video lines. The supply span runs from 6 V minimum to 36 V maximum — that covers single-rail 5 V (with headroom), 12 V, 15 V, and split ±15 V supplies common in industrial control and bench instrumentation. The single-channel (1 circuit) 8-SOIC package keeps the PCB footprint compact for one-stage-per-panel designs. Operating temperature is rated 0°C to 70°C — commercial grade. This part belongs in indoor, climate-controlled equipment (test gear, power supplies, audio processors), not in an engine bay or outdoor cabinet that sees freezing starts or 85°C ambient.
Package and rework — 8-SOIC with standard pitch
The 8-SOIC package (5.30 mm body width, 1.27 mm lead pitch) is about as rework-friendly as surface-mount gets. The leads are visible and accessible for a fine-tip iron or hot-air station; the 5.30 mm width means the thermal pad under the body is small enough that the part lifts cleanly without cooking adjacent passives. Pin 1 is marked by a notch on the package end — no ambiguity when placing it back after removal. Supplied in Bulk — loose tubes or trays, not tape-and-reel. That is fine for bench prototyping or manual assembly lines, but if your pick-and-place feeder expects embossed tape, you will need to transfer the parts into a carrier or order a reeled variant.
