Product details

What it is and where it fits

The LP3470A365DBVR is a simple reset/power-on reset supervisor from Texas Instruments, monitoring a single voltage rail at a 3.65V threshold.

Reset timing and output behaviour

The 619ms typical reset timeout is long enough to let a bulk capacitor on the rail settle after a brown-out without the supervisor toggling the reset line multiple times. If the rail glitches below 3.65V for less than the timeout, the output stays low until the full timeout expires — no early release. The open-drain output sinks current when active; the pull-up resistor value sets the rise time on release, so a 10kΩ pull-up to the logic supply gives a clean edge into a CMOS input.

The SOT-23-5 (SC-74A) footprint is a standard five-pin layout with 0.95mm pitch — hand-solderable with a fine tip iron, no hot-air station required. The supplier device package is SOT-23-5, same as the package/case. Tape and reel or cut tape options are available; the cut tape is fine for prototyping or a single rework.
