Quad comparator for low-power signal conditioning
It operates from a single supply of 2V to 36V or dual supplies of ±1V to ±18V, drawing a maximum quiescent current of 100µA across all four comparators. The open-collector, CMOS, and MOS output types allow wired-OR configurations and interface to logic families at different voltage levels. Typical applications include threshold detection, zero-crossing detectors, window comparators, and battery monitoring in commercial temperature environments (0°C to 70°C).
The 2V to 36V single-supply range covers common industrial rails (5V, 12V, 24V) without needing a separate regulator. The 100µA max quiescent current for all four comparators makes this part a strong candidate for loop-powered or battery-backed circuits where every microamp counts. Input offset voltage is 5mV max at 5V, and input bias current is 0.025µA max at 5V — both adequate for general-purpose level sensing where precision below a few millivolts is not required.
