1.57 GHz clock conditioner with integrated PLL
The Texas Instruments LMK04031BISQE/NOPB is a clock conditioner with an integrated PLL, designed to clean up jitter and generate low-noise clock signals up to 1.57 GHz. It accepts LVCMOS, LVDS, or LVPECL inputs and can output LVCMOS, LVDS, 2VPECL, or LVPECL levels, making it a flexible choice for high-speed timing chains in base stations, test equipment, and data converters. The single-circuit PLL includes programmable dividers and multipliers, so you can synthesize a range of frequencies from a single reference.
Input and output flexibility for mixed-signal designs
With a 2:6 input-to-output ratio and differential signaling on both sides, this part can fan out a clean clock to multiple destinations while maintaining signal integrity. The ability to mix LVCMOS, LVDS, and LVPECL on the same device simplifies board-level routing when different logic families coexist on the same PCB.
Housed in a 48-WFQFN with exposed pad (7x7 mm), the LMK04031BISQE/NOPB requires a solid thermal via stitch under the pad to keep junction temperatures under control at high output frequencies. Supply range is 3.15 V to 3.45 V, so a clean 3.3 V rail with ±5% tolerance is sufficient.
Texas Instruments lists this part as Active with no announced end-of-life.
