3.3V to 5V sync separator for NTSC/PAL video
The LMH1981MT/NOPB is a video sync separator that extracts horizontal and vertical timing from composite video signals conforming to NTSC or PAL standards — the two dominant analog broadcast formats globally. It operates from a 3.3V to 5V supply rail, so it fits into mixed-voltage systems without needing an extra regulator for the sync section. The serial control interface lets a host processor configure the separator's output timing and polarity over a simple two-wire bus, reducing the pin count on the controller side.
14-TSSOP surface-mount package
It ships in a Tube, so for low-volume builds or prototypes you get the parts in a rigid carrier without the reel handling of tape-and-reel packaging.
Targeted at professional video equipment
Texas Instruments targets the LMH1981MT/NOPB at Professional Video applications — think broadcast cameras, video routers, production switchers, and test equipment that need to recover sync from a composite video feed.
