Compared to the LMH0344SQE/NOPB which uses a Serial interface, or the LMH0394SQ/NOPB which uses SPI Serial, the LMH0340SQ/NOPB's SMBus control is the right choice when the system already has an I²C bus available and does not need the higher data rates of SPI.
