Dual op-amp, 24 MHz GBW, 15V/µs — signal-chain fit
The LM8262MM/NOPB is a general-purpose dual operational amplifier in an 8-VSSOP package, offering 24 MHz gain-bandwidth product and a 15V/µs slew rate — enough bandwidth to handle fast sensor signals or audio-band filtering without rolling off the passband. Rail-to-rail output swing means the signal uses the full supply range, useful when running from a single 5 V or 3.3 V rail and you need every millivolt of headroom before the ADC input. Each channel delivers 100 mA output current, so it can drive a moderate load — think a headphone amplifier stage or a multi-channel multiplexer input — without an external buffer.
Supply range and quiescent draw — board-level decisions
Operates from 2.5 V to 22 V single supply, or split supplies up to ±11 V. The wide span covers 3.3 V and 5 V logic rails as well as ±5 V or ±9 V analog supplies, so the same BOM position works across multiple board variants. Quiescent current is 2.5 mA per channel — not a micropower part, but reasonable for a 24 MHz amplifier where the bias current trades off against bandwidth and slew rate. Input offset voltage is 700 µV typical; input bias current is 1.05 µA. For precision DC-coupled stages below 1 mV accuracy, you may need to null the offset or select a lower-Vos grade.
Package, temperature grade, and lifecycle
Housed in an 8-VSSOP (MSOP-8) with 0.65 mm pitch — a compact footprint that routes easily on two-layer boards. The supplier device package is 8-VSSOP; the case code also accepts 8-TSSOP (3.00 mm width). Rated for -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range, suitable for most factory-floor and outdoor telecom enclosures.
