Boost LED driver with three independent channels
The TI LM3699YFQR is a three-channel DC-DC boost regulator for backlight and camera flash LED applications. It integrates the switching FET internally. Each channel delivers up to 20.2 mA, dimming via PWM. Switching at 1 MHz keeps external components small.
That covers outdoor telecom, engine-bay-adjacent modules, and factory-floor HMI backlights without a derating step. The package is a 12-bump DSBGA (1.64 mm × 1.24 mm) — a fine-pitch wafer-level chip-scale package. That means the PCB landing pattern is tiny, but assembly requires a solder-paste stencil with good aperture alignment and a reflow profile matched to the lead-free finish. The DSBGA has no leads to inspect visually; X-ray or electrical test verifies the joints.
For BOM planning, that means no LTB risk and no forced redesign horizon.
