Quad op-amp for general-purpose signal conditioning
The Texas Instruments LM2902PW is a quad general-purpose operational amplifier in a 14-TSSOP package, offering four independent circuits in a single surface-mount footprint. With a gain bandwidth product of 1.2 MHz and a slew rate of 0.5 V/µs, it handles audio-frequency signals and slow sensor outputs — think thermocouple conditioning or motor-current sensing in a 24 V industrial rail.
Operating from 3 V to 26 V single supply, the LM2902PW covers both 5 V logic rails and 24 V industrial supplies without a secondary regulator.
Input offset and bias current
Maximum input offset voltage of 3 mV and input bias current of 20 nA mean the DC error budget stays tight for a general-purpose part — adequate for 1% resistor divider networks and non-inverting gain stages up to 100.
Housed in a 14-TSSOP (4.40 mm width) with a surface-mount footprint, the LM2902PW is a drop-in for standard quad op-amp layouts on that pitch — no special pad geometry needed beyond the usual 0.65 mm lead pitch. Supplied in a tube, so for prototype runs you get individual parts without reel handling; production volumes would typically order the tape-and-reel variant (LM2902PWR) for pick-and-place.
