400 Mbps data rate and signal integrity
At 400 Mbps, the LVDS signalling provides low electromagnetic emission and robust noise immunity over twisted-pair or PCB traces. The full-duplex architecture allows simultaneous transmit and receive, which is useful for bidirectional serial links without bus-turnaround overhead. The 2/2 driver/receiver count supports two independent channels or a single channel with redundant paths.
