The 600 Mbps per-channel data rate supports common LVDS clock-and-data schemes like 24-bit RGB video at 60 Hz or a pair of high-speed serial links in a daisy-chain configuration. At this speed, the driver maintains the 350 mV typical differential swing into a 100 Ω termination, so the signal-integrity budget at the receiver end stays clean even across a few metres of cable. The dual-channel layout means one package can handle both a data and a forwarded clock, saving board area versus two single drivers.
