400 Mbps LVDS driver for automotive serial links
The DS90LV011AQMF/NOPB is a single-channel LVDS driver from Texas Instruments, rated for 400 Mbps data rate. That 400 Mbps ceiling sets the maximum serial bitstream it can transmit cleanly — above that, the output rise time degrades the eye opening and the receiver may miss edges. For a 12-bit ADC sampling at 20 MSPS over a serial LVDS interface, this driver comfortably handles the 240 Mbps payload plus framing overhead. This covers under-hood and engine-bay environments where ambient can hit 105°C on a hot day and still leave margin.
SOT-23-5 package and board-fit note
Housed in a SOT-23-5 (SC-74A) package, the DS90LV011AQMF/NOPB occupies a compact footprint — about 2.9 mm x 1.6 mm. The five pins map to a single LVDS output, a differential input pair, supply, and ground. The 0.95 mm pin pitch is standard for SOT-23; no fine-pitch challenges for a two-layer board. Available in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) — the TR option is the standard production reel for automated pick-and-place; CT is for prototyping or small-batch builds. The base product number DS90LV011 is shared across the family; the /NOPB suffix confirms lead-free (RoHS3 compliant) construction.
