Supply rail and thermal design
The part runs from a single 3V to 3.6V rail — nominally 3.3V — so it fits directly into a standard digital logic power domain without needing an extra regulator. The 40-WFQFN with exposed pad (6x6 mm body) demands a thermal-land pattern on the PCB with via stitching to the ground plane; without it, the junction temperature rises faster at elevated ambient. The exposed pad is the primary heat path, so the layout should connect it to a solid copper pour.
