Single-axis Hall sensor with 20 kHz bandwidth and ±9 mT range
The DRV5053VAQLPG is a single-axis Hall effect sensor from Texas Instruments' Automotive AEC-Q100 series, delivering an analog voltage output proportional to the applied magnetic flux density. Its ±9 mT sensing range and 20 kHz bandwidth suit applications such as brushless-DC motor rotor position sensing, linear position detection, and current sensing with a ferrite core. The wide supply range of 2.5 V to 38 V lets it run directly from a 5 V or 12 V rail without a separate regulator, simplifying the BOM.
Automotive temperature grade and supply flexibility
The 2.5 V to 38 V supply range covers common automotive and industrial rails; the sensor draws a maximum of 3.6 mA, keeping the thermal budget low even in dense PCB layouts.

It is supplied in a TO-92-3 through-hole package (short-body variant), suitable for breadboard prototyping, sensor probes, and retrofit designs where the PCB is already laid out for a three-pin Hall sensor.
