Automotive-grade unipolar Hall switch
The DRV5021A3EDBZRQ1: It switches on when a south pole of sufficient strength is present and releases when the field drops below the release point. The magnetic thresholds are specified at 23.4 mT (trip) and 6.2 mT (release), giving a 17.2 mT hysteresis that prevents output chatter near the switch point. The open-drain output sinks up to 30 mA and operates from a 2.5 V supply rail.
The AEC-Q100 qualification means the device has passed the full suite of automotive stress tests including temperature cycling, ESD, and latch-up.
