Current-feedback dual op-amp for wideband signal chains
The CLC431AE-QML is a dual current-feedback operational amplifier from the Comlinear (now part of Texas Instruments) high-speed amplifier family. It delivers a 2000 V/µs slew rate and 720 MHz -3 dB bandwidth, making it suited for video distribution, radar IF processing, high-speed ADC drivers, and pulsed laser diode drivers where settling time and large-signal fidelity matter. Each of the two channels draws 7.1 mA supply current and can source or sink 60 mA output current. The amplifier operates from a single or split supply up to 16.5 V total.
The 2000 V/µs slew rate is the standout parameter. By contrast, a typical voltage-feedback op-amp like the THS4215DRBT manages 970 V/µs.
Hermetic 20-CLCC for high-reliability deployment
Packaged in a 20-lead ceramic leadless chip carrier (20-CLCC, 8.89 mm square), the CLC431AE-QML is a hermetic, surface-mount device. The ceramic body and lid seal protect against moisture and outgassing.
The part is RoHS non-compliant (lead-bearing solder terminations on the ceramic package), which is standard for hermetic military/defense components.
