The CLC007BM is a single-channel line driver IC designed for high-speed serial communication.
At 400 Mbps, the output edge rates are fast enough that layout parasitics matter. Keep the trace impedance controlled and the return path short — a few centimetres of uncontrolled trace can close the eye. The single driver output is intended to feed a terminated transmission line; unterminated stubs will reflect and degrade the signal.
Active lifecycle, RoHS non-compliant
This rules it out for designs that must meet RoHS exemption-free requirements, but it remains a valid choice for legacy or high-reliability builds where leaded solder is still accepted or exempted.
