Clock generator with 1.5 GHz fanout for high-speed trees
The CDCE18005RGZT is a clock generator and fanout buffer from Texas Instruments, designed to distribute high-frequency clocks across a board with minimal skew. It accepts LVCMOS, LVDS, or LVPECL inputs and reproduces them on up to ten outputs using the same signal standards — no external level translators needed between domains. The maximum output frequency of 1.5 GHz places this part in the range needed for SerDes reference clocks, FPGA transceiver reference clocks, and high-speed ADC/DAC sampling clocks. The 3:10 fanout ratio means three independent input paths can be buffered to ten outputs, giving flexibility in multi-rate clock trees.
Cut tape is also available for prototype or low-volume builds. ROHS3 compliance means no exemptions for lead in solder — the part is fully compatible with lead-free reflow profiles.
