Military-temp 74HCT buffer in a through-hole DIP
The CD74HCT367E is a 74HCT-series hex buffer with non-inverting logic and 3-state outputs, packaged in a 16-pin DIP (0.300", 7.62mm) for through-hole mounting.
4mA output drive — enough for CMOS, not for lamps
That drives a handful of CMOS inputs or one standard TTL load, but don't plan on driving an LED directly or fanning out to a dozen gates without buffering. The 3-state outputs let you share a bus — pull the output-enable high and the pins go high-impedance, which is how you wire up a shared data or address line on a legacy board.
Through-hole only — no surface-mount variant
The CD74HCT367E comes only in the 16-DIP through-hole package (0.300" body width, 7.62mm lead pitch). If your board is all surface-mount, this isn't the fit — you'd need to look at a SOIC or TSSOP variant in the 74HCT family. For prototyping, breadboarding, or repairing a through-hole PCB, the DIP is exactly what the socket expects.
Active lifecycle — still a current-production part
That matters if you're qualifying a BOM for production or stocking spares for a long-life system: you're not chasing a sunset part.
