Sub-1 GHz transceiver for ISM-band links
The Texas Instruments CC1101RTKRG3 is a single-chip, low-power sub-1 GHz RF transceiver designed for the 300–348 MHz, 387–464 MHz, and 779–928 MHz ISM bands. It supports multiple modulation formats including 2FSK, 4FSK, ASK, GFSK, MSK, and OOK, with a maximum data rate of 600 kbps and a receiver sensitivity of -116 dBm. The SPI serial interface handles configuration and data transfer.
For existing BOM lines, procurement must rely on independent distribution channels. Buyers should verify stock position and lead time.
915 MHz support and frequency coverage
The CC1101RTKRG3 covers the 779–928 MHz range, which includes the 915 MHz ISM band used in North America and parts of Asia. The receiver sensitivity of -116 dBm and output power up to 12 dBm provide a usable link budget for typical short-range wireless sensor networks, remote controls, and building automation links operating in that band.
The SPI interface pins are on the perimeter, making layout straightforward for a two-layer board. The part is surface-mount only.
