The Texas Instruments CC1101QRHBRG4Q1 is an automotive AEC-Q100 qualified sub-1 GHz transceiver that operates across three key ISM bands: 310 to 348 MHz, 420 to 450 MHz, and 779 to 928 MHz. It supports multiple modulation schemes including 2FSK, GFSK, ASK, MSK, and OOK, with a maximum data rate of 250 kBaud. Package and thermal pad — layout checklist
The 32-VFQFN with exposed pad (5x5 mm body) needs the center thermal paddle soldered to a ground plane with adequate via stitching to pull heat out of the die. The part is a TxRx Only device — no internal MCU — so the SPI serial interface handles all register configuration and data streaming. Supply decoupling should follow the recommended capacitor values from the datasheet; the 1.8 to 3.6 V range is wide enough to run from a regulated 3.3 V rail or a battery directly.
