2-5 cell Li-Ion over-voltage monitor
The BQ771802DPJT is a secondary over-voltage protection IC for 2 to 5 series-connected lithium-ion cells. It monitors each cell voltage independently and triggers a fault output when any cell exceeds the over-voltage threshold — a safety net for multi-cell packs where a single cell failure could cascade. Operating across -40°C to 110°C ambient, the device suits battery packs in power tools, e-bikes, and portable equipment that see both cold storage and hot charging cycles.
Housed in an 8-WDFN with exposed pad (supplier package 8-WSON 3x4 mm), the device is surface-mount only.
