What the 3-5 cell monitor covers
This is a battery monitor IC for 3 to 5 series-connected cells, communicating over an I²C bus. The multi-chemistry support means it works with Li-ion, LiFePO₄, lead-acid, and other chemistries — one BOM line covers multiple pack types. Integrated fault protection includes overcurrent, over/under voltage, and short-circuit detection. These are the three most common failure modes in a multi-cell pack; the monitor handles them without an external supervisor MCU.
Available in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) — the CT option is useful for prototype quantities without committing to a full reel.
