It delivers up to 3A charge current via a constant-current charging scheme, controlled and monitored through an I²C interface. Integrated fault protection covers over-current, over-temperature, and over-voltage conditions, reducing external supervisor circuitry. The part operates over -40°C to 85°C, suiting portable and industrial equipment where the battery pack sits inside the enclosure.
