Tighter tolerance than the standard TL431
The ATL431LIBIDQNR is an adjustable shunt voltage reference from Texas Instruments, part of the ATL431 family. Its ±0.5% tolerance is a significant step up from the ±2.2% of the widely used TL431IDBVR — meaning the output voltage stays closer to the programmed value over temperature and load, without external trimming. Minimum cathode current is just 80 µA, so the reference can be biased with a single high-value resistor in low-power loops — a common need in battery-monitor or energy-harvesting circuits where every microamp counts.
