The ADS1110A5IDBVT: The base product number ADS1110 covers a family of pin-compatible 16-bit sigma-delta ADCs with different I²C address options; the A5 suffix sets the address to 1001001. 16-bit sigma-delta with PGA — what the specs mean for a sensor front-end
16-bit resolution with a sigma-delta architecture gives 15 effective bits at 240 SPS — enough for precision temperature, pressure, or strain-gauge bridges. The internal PGA amplifies the differential signal before conversion, letting you resolve microvolt-level changes from a bridge output without an external op-amp. Single-ended or differential input through one channel — the PGA gain is programmable over I²C, so a single firmware build can handle different sensor spans. The internal reference eliminates the external voltage reference BOM line.
SOT-23-6 package — board integration notes
Surface-mount SOT-23-6 package — 0.95 mm pitch, 2.9 mm body length. The small footprint fits on a two-layer board; no thermal pad or exposed paddle to manage. The I²C bus lines need pull-up resistors sized for the bus capacitance and the 240 SPS conversion rate.
