150 Mbps with 35 kV/µs transient immunity
The SI8652BC-B-IS1 is a 5-channel digital isolator from Skyworks Solutions, using capacitive coupling to deliver 150 Mbps data rate with a 35 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity (CMTI). That CMTI figure means the output stays valid when a fast voltage spike slams across the isolation barrier — critical in motor-drive or inverter environments where switching edges couple noise into the signal path.
Channel count, direction, and supply range
Five unidirectional channels split 3/2 across the isolation barrier — three inputs on side 1, two on side 2. Propagation delay is 13 ns max in either direction, with a 4.5 ns pulse-width distortion ceiling. The 2.5 ns typical rise/fall times keep the 150 Mbps data eye open across the isolation gap.
3750 Vrms isolation and temperature grade
Rated for 3750 Vrms isolation per the datasheet, this part suits basic-reinforced isolation in industrial interfaces, RS-485 transceivers, or isolated SPI links. Packaged in a 16-SOIC narrow-body (0.154" width, 3.90 mm), supplier device package 16-SOIC. Surface-mount assembly with standard reflow profiles — no special bake-out beyond the usual MSL handling for a tube-delivered part.
