Single CMOS op-amp for signal conditioning in tight spaces
The ROHM BU7241G-TR is a single-channel, general-purpose CMOS operational amplifier that fits into a 5-pin SC-74A / SOT-753 package — roughly the footprint of a small SOT-23. It delivers a 900 kHz gain-bandwidth product with a 0.4 V/µs slew rate, drawing only 70 µA of supply current. Input bias current is 1 pA typical, so it works well with high-impedance sensors like photodiodes or pH probes without loading the source.
Supply range and temperature — where it works and where it does not
If your design needs 105°C or AEC-Q100, look at the BU7242SNUX-TR (dual version, same core, 105°C rating) as a starting point.
Package and mounting
The 5-SSOP supplier package (same body as the SC-74A) is a single-row-of-pins layout — orientation is obvious from the pin-1 mark, so a field swap with tweezers and a fine iron is doable. No thermal pad to worry about; the 70 µA quiescent current keeps self-heating negligible.
