Adjustable LDO with 1A output and Power Good — what it saves you from
The ROHM BD00JC0MNUX-ME2 is a single-output, positive adjustable LDO regulator delivering up to 1A. Its output voltage is set via an external resistor divider from a minimum of 0.65V up to 2.7V, covering the core and I/O rails of many FPGAs, MCUs, and SoCs that need a sub-3.3V supply. The 0.3V maximum dropout at 1A means you can hold a 1.8V rail from a 2.1V input — useful in battery-powered or post-buck scenarios where headroom is tight. An integrated power good output simplifies reset generation or sequencing without an external supervisor IC.
Control and protection features
The BD00JC0MNUX-ME2 includes current limit, enable, and power good as control and protection features. The enable pin allows the regulator to be shut down for power sequencing or low-power standby. Current limit protects the pass device and load during fault conditions. The power good output is an open-drain flag that asserts when the output is within regulation, useful for monitoring or sequencing downstream converters.
