PNP transistor for signal switching and amplification
The 2SA1037AKT146Q from Rohm Semiconductor is a general-purpose PNP transistor in a SOT-23-3 surface-mount package.
ROHS3 compliant.
SOT-23-3 footprint and field-swap considerations
The part comes in a TO-236-3 / SC-59 / SOT-23-3 package (supplier device package SMT3). The SOT-23-3 footprint is one of the most common for small-signal transistors, so board layout is standard. No lab bench needed for a swap; just basic ESD precautions and a fine-tip iron.
Power dissipation and thermal limits
Maximum power dissipation is 200 mW, and the junction temperature rating goes to 150 °C. In a typical signal-level switching or preamp stage, this is plenty of headroom — but if you are pushing near the 150 mA collector current limit continuously, derate for ambient temperature. The SOT-23-3 package has modest thermal mass, so keep the trace copper area reasonable if the part runs warm.
