32 MHz RL78 core with 384 KB flash — memory headroom for sensor-fusion and HMI firmware
The Renesas R7F100GPK2DFB#AA0 is a 16-bit RL78/G23 microcontroller clocked at 32 MHz, packing 384 KB of flash program memory, 32 KB of RAM, and 8 KB of on-chip EEPROM — enough space for a capacitive-touch HMI stack, a LINbus body-control node, or a multi-sensor acquisition loop without external memory. The 32 MHz RL78 core delivers deterministic interrupt response for control loops that need to sample sensors, process a PID update, and drive a PWM output within a few microseconds — the kind of timing a motor-drive or battery-charger controller demands.
Analog front-end — 28 ADC channels and dual DAC
Twenty 10-bit and eight 12-bit ADC channels give you the resolution flexibility to mix coarse monitoring (10-bit for temperature thresholds) with higher-precision measurements (12-bit for current-sense or pressure-transducer inputs) on the same die, without an external analog mux. Two 8-bit DAC outputs let you generate analog setpoints or bias voltages directly from the MCU — handy for trimming a sensor reference or driving an analog indicator without a separate DAC chip.
