RL78/G23 core and memory budget
The R7F100GEH2DNP#AA0 is a 16-bit RL78/G23 microcontroller running at 32 MHz. On-chip memory includes 192 KB flash for code and constant data, 20 KB SRAM for stack and variables, and 8 KB dedicated EEPROM — the EEPROM bank survives 100,000 write cycles and retains data without a backup battery.
Peripheral mix for sensor and HMI nodes
Capacitive touch sensing, LVD, POR, PWM, and WDT are integrated — a single-chip solution for an appliance control panel or a capacitive-touch user interface without an external touch controller. Serial connectivity covers CSI, I²C, SPI, UART/USART, and LINbus — the LIN interface makes this MCU a candidate for automotive body-control modules (window lift, mirror adjust) where the 1.6 V minimum supply also supports a direct battery connection through a simple series resistor. The data-converter block provides nine 10-bit ADC channels, eight 12-bit ADC channels, and two 8-bit DAC outputs — enough resolution to read multiple analog sensors (thermistor, potentiometer, current shunt) and output an analog setpoint or a simple waveform without an external DAC.
ROHS3 compliant (EU 2015/863), with no substance exemptions that would expire before a typical 10-year production run.
