32 MHz RL78 core with 96 KB flash — memory headroom for mixed-signal control
The R7F100GBF2DNP#AA0 is a 16-bit RL78/G23 microcontroller running at 32 MHz with 96 KB of on-chip flash and 12 KB of RAM — enough program space for a sensor-fusion algorithm plus a Modbus or LIN stack, with RAM left for a 1 KB circular buffer. The 8 KB EEPROM block stores calibration constants and fault logs without wearing the flash. The 32-WFQFN package (5x5 mm) with exposed thermal pad suits space-constrained PCBs in handheld or panel-mount designs.
Analog front-end and peripheral set for HMI and body electronics
Eight ADC channels configurable to 8-, 10-, or 12-bit resolution cover multi-sensor inputs — thermistors, potentiometers, or current-shunt amplifiers. Two 8-bit DAC channels provide analog output for set-point control or sensor excitation. On-chip capacitive touch sensing eliminates a separate touch controller in membrane-keypad or proximity-sensor applications. The peripheral set also includes a low-voltage detect (LVD), power-on reset (POR), PWM timer, and watchdog timer — enough for a standalone safety watchdog in a motor-drive interlock.
Industrial temperature grade and active lifecycle
The part is ROHS3 compliant, meeting EU material restrictions for commercial and industrial equipment.
