Active RX600 MCU with 120 MHz RXv3 core and 512 KB on-chip flash
The R5F56604DDFP#30 is a current-production 32-bit MCU from Renesas' RX600 series, built around the RXv3 core running at 120 MHz. With 512 KB flash, 128 KB RAM, and 32 KB EEPROM on a single die, it eliminates the need for external non-volatile memory in most control applications.
Peripheral set and connectivity for industrial control
The 24-channel 12-bit ADC and dual 12-bit DAC handle multi-sensor acquisition and analog output loops — enough channels for a three-phase motor current-sense plus a thermistor bank without external muxing. The 89 I/O lines in the 100-LQFP package leave room for parallel displays or additional GPIO. Peripherals include DMA, LVD, POR, PWM, and WDT — the LVD (low-voltage detect) and POR (power-on reset) reduce external supervisor IC count on the board.
The part is ROHS3 compliant.
