The R5F523E5SDFL#10 is a Renesas RX23E-A series 32-bit MCU built around the RXv2 core running at 32 MHz. Its defining feature is the mixed-resolution ADC array: six 12-bit SAR channels for general-purpose analog inputs plus twelve 24-bit sigma-delta channels that resolve microvolt-level signals from bridge sensors, thermocouples, or load cells without an external AFE. The on-chip memory partition — 128 KB flash for program storage, 16 KB RAM for runtime data, and a separate 8 KB EEPROM block for calibration constants or configuration parameters — lets a sensor-fusion firmware image keep its non-volatile look-up tables in dedicated space without wearing the main flash.
Connectivity and peripheral set for industrial buses
The peripheral set includes CANbus for industrial network integration, plus I²C, SCI (UART), and SPI for local sensor buses. The DMA controller moves ADC results to RAM without core intervention, and the LVD and POR blocks handle brown-out supervision without an external supervisor IC.
