RX140 core at 48 MHz — memory and peripheral fit
The R5F51403AGNH#30 is a 32-bit RX core MCU from the RX140 series, clocked at 48 MHz. With 64 KB of program flash, 16 KB of RAM, and 4 KB of data EEPROM, it has enough headroom for a small control loop — say a motor commutation routine with a Modbus stack — without external memory. The internal oscillator keeps the BOM lean — no external crystal needed for the core clock.
Package and board-fit — 32-HWQFN with exposed pad
Housed in a 32-WFQFN with an exposed pad (supplier package 32-HWQFN, 5x5 mm), this is a hand-solderable part with a hot-air station — the 0.5 mm pitch QFN is forgiving enough for a rework station or a small reflow oven. 23 I/O lines are brought out, including the A/D converter inputs (8 channels, 12-bit). The peripheral set includes DMA, LVD, POR, PWM, and WDT, plus I²C, SCI, and SPI for sensor or actuator links.
Temperature grade and operating environment
The 1.8 V minimum supply holds across the full temperature range per the datasheet's operating conditions.
