32 MHz RL78 core with 48 KB flash and industrial temp range
The R5F100GDGNA#20 is a 16-bit RL78/G13 microcontroller running at 32 MHz, with 48 KB of on-chip flash program memory and 3 KB of RAM. The 4 KB EEPROM block stores calibration constants or configuration data without wearing the flash — useful for field-updatable parameters in a motor drive or sensor node.
Peripheral set and I/O for control-loop applications
34 general-purpose I/O lines are available, along with a 10-channel 10-bit ADC for analog sensor inputs. On-chip peripherals include DMA, LVD, POR, PWM, and WDT — the PWM channels can drive a small brushed DC motor or a solenoid directly, while the LVD monitors the supply rail for brownout detection. Connectivity covers CSI (clocked serial interface), I²C, LINbus, and UART/USART — enough for a LIN slave node in an automotive body module or a Modbus RTU link in a factory sensor.
The package is ROHS3 compliant, with no added lead or phthalates — the compliance documentation covers RoHS and REACH per Renesas standard declarations.
