32 MHz RL78 core with on-chip memory for sensor and actuator control
The Renesas R5F100EHANA#20 is a 16-bit RL78/G13 microcontroller running at 32 MHz, with 192 KB of program flash, 16 KB of RAM, and 8 KB of data EEPROM on a single die. Industrial temperature grade (-40°C to 85°C) covers factory-floor enclosures and outdoor cabinets that see seasonal swings.
Peripheral set and I/O for a self-contained control node
28 general-purpose I/O lines are available — enough to drive a small keypad, a character LCD, and a handful of discrete sensors without an I/O expander. Serial connectivity covers CSI (clocked serial interface), I²C, LINbus, and UART/USART — enough for a sensor bus, a local debug link, and a LIN node in automotive-adjacent designs.
Lifecycle and availability
ROHS3 compliant; the part ships in tray packaging (the standard format for volume pick-and-place).
