Board-mount pressure sensor for 200 kPa gauge measurements
The NXP MPXM2202GS is a temperature-compensated, vented gauge pressure sensor from the MPX2202 series, packaged in a surface-mount module with a top port and barbless 0.12" (2.97 mm) tube connection. It is designed for board-mount applications where a ratiometric Wheatstone bridge output is needed, delivering 0 mV to 40 mV at 10 V excitation over a 29.01 PSI (200 kPa) operating pressure range. The -40°C to 125°C operating temperature span suits industrial and automotive under-hood environments where the sensor sees both ambient heat and pressure media at moderate temperatures.
What the 0 mV to 40 mV output means for your signal chain
The unamplified 40 mV full-scale span at 10 V supply is a differential signal from the internal Wheatstone bridge. This low-level output requires an instrumentation amplifier with a gain stage to bring the signal into the ADC range.
Active lifecycle and supply posture
For BOM planning, this removes the last-time-buy risk that often accompanies older pressure sensor families.
